After completing her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from York University, Laurie decided to pursue her passion to work in the dental field.  She graduated with Honours from George Brown College Dental Hygiene program, successfully completed the National Dental Hygiene Certification Board Exam, and then went on to become authorized to self-initiate through the CDHO.  Laurie brings over 20 years of dental hygiene experience to our practice.  She is dedicated to helping her clients achieve optimal oral and total health by working together as partners in care.  Outside of the office, Laurie enjoys spending time with her husband, 2 teenage daughters and extended family.  She loves early morning workouts, reading, travelling, baking healthy treats, collecting cookbooks, learning about holistic nutrition, and watching medical dramas on television.
